About the team leader
The team leader Dr. Akinagum Fidelis Esenjor is a seasoned sustainable developer, participatory techniques expert. He is an author and award winning essayist, a writer who contributes to both local and international journals of development. He is the author of the following books:
- Nuts and Bolts of Community Development published in 1992;
- Community-Based Land Resources Management and Conservation and Sustainable Tourism published in 2010; and
- A Guide to Managing HIV and AIDS in the World of Work: the Roles of Stakeholders published in 2010.
The team leader’s wealth of experience includes lecturing, acting as head of academic department, a researcher and consultant for about than twenty eight years within and outside the region.
The team leader holds a Doctorate degree in Community-Based Land Resource Management and Conservation obtained at the Free State University, Master degree in Rural Sociology and Community Development pass with first division and obtained at Agra University, India and, a Post graduate diploma in HIV and AIDS Management obtained at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
